Face Up Turn 3
Face Up Solitaire Draw 3 – Classic Game with a Smart Twist
Welcome to Face Up Solitaire Draw 3 at SolitaireX.io – a modern take on the classic solitaire game! This version keeps the beloved Draw 3 challenge but reveals all the stockpile cards face up, adding clarity and a new layer of strategic depth.
How to Play Face Up Solitaire Draw 3
In this game, you play traditional Klondike Solitaire with a Draw 3 rule. The twist? All drawn cards from the stockpile are face up, letting you plan ahead and make smarter moves.
- Your goal: Move all cards to the four foundation piles, one for each suit, in ascending order from Ace to King.
- Use the seven tableau columns to build down in alternating colors.
- Only a King or a valid descending sequence starting with a King can be moved into an empty tableau column.
Rules
- You draw three cards at a time from the stockpile, but all are visible, not just the top card.
- You can cycle through the stockpile unlimited times.
- Cards must alternate red and black and follow descending numerical order in the tableau.
- Move cards to the foundations in order: Ace → 2 → … → King.
Strategies for Winning
- Plan ahead using the visible cards in the stockpile – this is the key advantage of the face up version.
- Free up tableau columns early to make room for King cards.
- Don’t rush to move cards to the foundation if they might help you free up or access more cards in the tableau.
- Always look for ways to uncover hidden cards in the tableau – that’s how you gain momentum.
- Practice card cycling through the stockpile efficiently to access needed cards faster.
Why Play This Version?
- More strategic control thanks to visible stock cards
- No surprises – every draw is fully revealed
- Ideal for players seeking a fair, skill-based challenge
- Free to play online, no download required
